The minute strangers are in disputes, the result may be drastic, even cruel but they later learn to resolve their differences, sometimes for necessity’s sake by becoming friends and learning to tolerate one another. But when siblings engage in a battle or fight, the outcome is horrific, extremely unpleasant and may lead to an outward unfathomable deep-rooted hatred for each other.
Conflicts may not always be between people sharing same topographical borders. The issue is that the opposing groups assume control, they take undue advantage over the other by claiming special jurisdictive authority due to the positions they occupy. At times it maybe a claim over the ownership of a piece of land, at other times it may be religious, tribal or political crisis.
“Conflict is anti development. Conflict is an envoy of horror and an apocalypse and catastrophe”._Mkar Journal of Media and Culture.208*
Skirmish, whether racial, party-political or religious can be caused by a number of factors caused by unequal economic resources and differences in access to welfare. A situation where excess affluence is controlled by a group of few individuals who live in tremendous wealth, whereas a good majority scrabble in forlorn, scarcity, filth and diseases, in the midst of abundant material wealth is more often than not a source of conflict.
Skirmishes are inevitable reality of social existence, they cannot be stopped but can be managed and transformed positively by the parties involved, sometimes with the help of third parties, and disagreements can be transformed by without necessarily leading to violence.
Now Peace!

Amity is a vital concept when it comes to skirmish.
We all deserve a period in which there is no war, where there is freedom from disturbances. There is a great need for a peaceful environment, a time when people are able to resolve their conflicts without violence and can work together to improve their quality of living.
Living in amity is a great way to avoid skirmish. People need to respect and love each other in spite of our tribal, religious and political differences.
We must learn to live in peace with our inner self first before bringing it out to the world. Violence have never been the solution to crisis which is why we must seek to understand others before attempting change.
Tolerance is another key to peaceful living which is why we must learn to tolerate others. Tolerance for others is about appreciating diversity, the plurality of modern society and being willing to live and let others live too.
Let’s all try and learn to be peaceful and just like Gandhi said “There are many causes that I am prepared to die for but no cause that I am prepared to kill for”. The Holy book also tells us in 1 Thessalonians 5:15 that we should make sure that nobody pays wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and everyone else. If it is possible as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.
Finally let’s seek forgiveness, not revenge. Be the change you wish to see in the world.
au revoir………………………………………………...
Be the change you wish to see in the world. It starts with you!
